“Burning Away EP” is the brand new work by MAXWELL’S DEAD, a quartet from Dundee, UK that has been doing punk rock music over the last ten years. The EP contains 5 songs (one of them is an NOFX cover), on the wave of skatepunk and melodic hardcore bands. A kind of fusion of Rancid and NOFX, that might be their biggest influences. And it results in great songs with serious baselines, melodic passages and the strong rhythm of the 90’s skatepunk.

HIGHLIGHTED SONGS: “Last Chance” is an melodic, simple and catchy song how a good melodic skatepunk music should be. And “Gonna Find A Way” is an ska song very simple too, and sounds amazing even without any of the usual ska trumpets along the track.
